The first in a series of booklets produced for Myaamia (Miami) language learners intended for practical and useful language learning. Focusing on common phrases used in daily situations, rather than basic vocabulary or individual words, the book also includes chapters with common commands, sample conversations, and a wordlist (glossary) compiled alphabetically in Myaamia. The Miami Language Program Collection consists of books, audio recordings and ephemera for learning and understanding the Myaamia (Miami) language.

Scope and Contents Curriculum laid out in three units, each with several lessons. Unit 1 is primarily game activities consisting of vocabulary building exercises.
