The sender, James R. Jones, a Member of Congress, is concerned about the lack of adequate healthcare facilities for American Indians in the Tulsa, Oklahoma metropolitan area. He suggests that the Indian Health Service consider providing contract services with Tulsa clinics to provide outpatient care and refer more serious cases to the hospital in Claremore. Jones believes that this proposal would greatly benefit the Indian people of Tulsa.
