Carl Albert Center Congressional and Political Collections
About:
The Carl Albert Center Archives holds the most extensive collection of political and congressional papers in the state of Oklahoma. The collections comprise the papers of 62 former members of Congress, as well as documents from 25 political leaders, congressional staffers, and journalists. These collections span over 100 years of American history, from Oklahoma's territorial days to the modern era, with the majority of materials dating from the 1930s to the 1990s. As a result, the Center's archives support research on a wide range of topics.
