Scope and Contents
The text consists of two letters. The first letter is from James R. Jones, a member of Congress, to Mr. Hampton W. Anderson. Jones thanks Anderson for sending him a copy of a recent letter to Marvin Franklin and apologizes for not being in the office when Anderson stopped by. Jones expresses a desire to see Anderson on his next visit and offers assistance if needed. The second letter is from Hampton W. Anderson to Marvin Franklin, assistant to the Secretary of Interior. Anderson thanks Franklin for taking the time to visit with him and expresses gratitude for making the visit pleasant. Anderson mentions an enclosed application for Franklin's reference and sends his best regards and wishes. A copy of the letter is also sent to Congressman James Jones.
