Scope and Contents

The North American Indian Students Association expresses concern about a cutback in Indian education and other programs. They request support in fighting against these cutbacks and argue that past Interior activities have prioritized public land management over the needs of Indian people. They remind the recipient of President Nixon's message affirming Indian self-determination and ask for Congressional support.
