The text contains a letter from James r. Jones to joe Shankhamala, president of the Osage association, inc. Jones encloses a letter from the Bia area director, Thomas Ellison, in response to jones's inquiry on Shankhamala's behalf. Ellisons response indicates that he is available to meet with Shankhamala, but that they have not been able to resolve issues in the past. Jones urges Ellison and commissioner of Indian affairs, Morris Thompson, to meet with Shankhamala and his group.
