Scope and Contents
The text contains a resolution from the Sequoyah school board to the assistant secretary of Indian affairs. The resolution requests that funds which were illegally paid from Sequoyah school funds to Amon baker while he served as acting superintendent for non-education at the Tahlequah Indian agency be restored to the schools budget. The resolution also requests that a document be transmitted to the school board showing the replacement of the funds so that the board can amend its financial plan accordingly.
