Scope and Contents
The text contains two letters, one from ralph Resser of the bureau of Indian affairs to James Overton of the inter-tribal council of the five civilized tribes, and one from Overton to Resser. In the first letter, Resser thanks Overton for bringing his concerns about cuts to the employment assistance program in oklahoma to his attention, and says he will forward the letters to the relevant departments. In the second letter, Overton thanks Resser for his response and says he looks forward to working together to improve housing and employment conditions for native Americans.
