Scope and Contents

The bureau of Indian affairs has decided to close the institute of American Indian art in Sante fee and relocate it to the Haskell institute in Lawrence, Kansas. This decision is being met with some opposition, with some people in oklahoma pushing for the collection to be relocated to their state instead. Congressman James r. Jones has asked for a full report on the matter from the bureau of Indian affairs and has assured those opposed to the relocation that he will look into the matter.
