Scope and Contents

The bureau of Indian affairs (Bia) has been working with American Indian scholarships, inc. (Ais) to provide scholarships for native American students pursuing higher education. However, due to budget constraints, the Bia will not be able to continue funding the program in fiscal year (FYI ) 1976. The Bia is currently exploring the possibility of having each area within the agency contribute funds to continue the program in FYI 1976.
