 Item — Box: 38, Folder: 17
Identifier: CAC_CC_109_5_38_17_0003

Scope and Contents

The Pawnee Tribe phone bill is seven months old and the tribe has been working with the phone company to collect $2000. However, self-determination is not applicable in this case because the Pawnee Tribe is not a recognized tribe or group. The Ponca Tribe has been advised to call Hazel at 343-7163 for more information. BIA Ted Krinch has also been advised to treat this as a local unit.
