Congress is expected to pass the biggest tax cut in history, totaling $11.5 billion, which should be ready for President Johnson's signature by the end of the day or tomorrow. If all goes smoothly, millions of Americans will see the reductions in their paychecks in March. The House is expected to take final action on the compromise version of the legislation first, followed by the Senate. Once passed, President Johnson will need to sign the bill into law.
