Scope and Contents
This collection contains resources on the Kiowa language. “Kiowa Road” is composed of translations of a series of Kiowa oral histories prepared by the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma for the Kiowa Tribal Museum/Resource Center and Kiowa Tribal Membership. Also contained in this collection are a series of audio lessons for learning Kiowa prepared and spoken by Dr. Gus Palmer, a professor of anthropology at the University of Oklahoma.
