These materials were originally in an untitled folder. The folder had "Mike Synar" written on the front in sharpie. Material includes hand annotated letters, and what looks like a typed page of notes entitled "Block of Amendments I Am Working on W/Waxman's Staff"

By far the largest series in the Synar collection, Legislative contains some 82,809 items that cover a wide range of materials and the congressman's full tenure in office.

Contains materials sent to the Synar office by RJR Tobacco, including public service programming pamphlets.

Contains memos, letters, invitations, Dear Colleague letters, bill text, handwritten notes, and other documents pertaining to Synar's proposed amendments concerning tobacco regulation.
