Inscription on the back of the photograph reads "Sent to Senator Thomas by Frank C. Orner in letter dated October 22nd, 1932 (Agriculture). Mr. Orner was Secretary/Treasurer and Historian of the Old Settlers, Sons-Daughters' Association of Oklahoma at the time. The letter came from Goodnight, Oklahoma.", 1932 October 22
