William E. Brock was appointed Campaign Chairman of the Dole for President Committee in 1987. Prior to this role, he served as the 18th Secretary of Labor and United States Trade Representative. Brock was born in 1930 in Tennessee and had a career in politics, serving in Congress and the Senate. He was also the National Chairman of the Republican Party. Brock is married and has five children.
