LaDonna Harris, President of Americans For Indian Opportunity, invited James R. Jones to attend the National Council on Indian Opportunity Conference on Indian housing. Jones expressed his deep concern for the matter and stated that he would make every effort to attend the conference, although his legislative calendar might make it difficult. If he is unable to attend, he will send a representative from his staff. Harris emphasized the importance of addressing housing concerns for Indian people and invited Jones to make a significant contribution to the conference's success.
