Scope and Contents
This document contains correspondence between Congressman Carl Albert and Ray James and Congressman Albert and Byron D. Salsman regarding the selection of an architectural firm for the construction of the new Indian Hospital at Ada, Oklahoma. Also included is a resolution adopted by the United Indian Tribes of Western Oklahoma and Kansas on the establishment of a hospital at Shawnee, Oklahoma, and a note between members of Congressman Albert's staff regarding a movement to move the new hospital location to Shawnee, Oklahoma instead.
