If America is going to remain competitive in the future, in business, in science, in technology, we have to give our children a first-rate education. We're just not doing that today. We're losing too many kids to drugs and an inadequate education. We need a president who's not just going to talk tough, but who's willing to show some strength. And if that means recognizing that education is also important to national security, and if that means using the military to help stop drugs at our borders, then let's do it.
