My family means the world to me. Everything I do is for them. The American worker. His family depends on him. And so does the nation. You know, you talk about a worker. Eight times out of ten, he's married and got kids. Jimmy Carter may know what it's like. He bailed Chrysler out. And that wasn't a move to save big business. That was a move to save jobs. But it would also stop a lot of undue hardship to families especially. That in itself clues me into the fact that he is concerned. I may not be objective because I'm labor-oriented, you know. But the president has done more for labor in this country than any president since. He knows it all. And that's a matter of record.
