There are more and more women who are in the same position that I am in, and I think it's very important that a woman be able to support her family because it's happening more every day that that's a necessity. Carol Quick is one of 26 million American women for whom work is a necessity. Well, I don't see myself as a militant at all. I just see myself as a supporter of my family. I think that President Carter has definitely made an awareness of women for the nation, and he's done many things that I feel are for working women. I mean, a lot of women are married and work and are contributing to their family, and I think they deserve equal rights as well. This is why I support President Carter, because I personally feel like he supports me.
