Scope and Contents
The Department of Health, Education, and Welfare's Office of Education has approved grants for institutions participating in the College Work-Study Program for the period July 1, 1974, through June 30, 1975. The program provides federal funds to cover 80% of student payrolls, with institutions providing the remaining 20%. A total of 3,131 institutional programs benefiting 555,132 students have been approved, with a total of $267,747,354 in federal funds being obligated.
