Scope and Contents

The U.S. Office of Education has approved 2,377 Basic Grants totaling $9,960,200 under the Title II-A program of the Higher Education Act of 1965. The grants are for accredited institutions of higher education and other library agencies to acquire library materials. The maximum funding level per applicant is $4,235. The grants have been issued to institutions in various states, including Oklahoma. Award documents will be sent out soon, and further information can be obtained from the Division of Library Programs.
