Scope and Contents
On August 14, 1974, the United States Senate received a memorandum regarding training grants from the National Institute for Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism. The grants included funding for social work training for Native Americans at the OU Health Sciences Center in OKC and career teacher awards in addictive disorders. It was noted that the previous grant to the Lawton airport was from the Department of Transportation.
