Scope and Contents

A letter from Lawrence Tomah Jr. to Senator Mike Monroney requesting help in recognizing a General Council meeting of the Kiowa, Comanche, and Apache Tribes. The meeting was canceled by the Business Committee, but Tomah believes the cancellation was illegal and requests support from the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Department of the Interior. Senator Monroney acknowledges the letter and promises to investigate the situation.
