Scope and Contents

The Inter-Tribal Council of the Five Civilized Tribes expressed appreciation for the Area Director assigned to the Muskogee Area Office, Virgil Harrington, for his understanding and sincere interest in the welfare of the Indian people. They pledged full support and assistance to achieve the best administration for the Tribes. They also commended the Muskogee Area Office for working with the community to raise social and economic standards. This information was forwarded to Senator Monroney for his information and files.
