The letter is from William Rabba to Honorable Elmer Thomas, expressing concerns about the sale of Indian lands and timber in Oklahoma. Rabba believes that the government has neglected the timber on the land and allowed people to remove it for commercial purposes. He requests that the sale be postponed until an investigation is conducted and the mineral rights are reserved. Senator Thomas assures Rabba that he will do what he can to help and is cooperating with Chief Durant of the Choctaw Tribe for the benefit of the Indian citizens.
