Scope and Contents

The letter from Miss Green expresses concern over the sale of Indian lands and requests for proper care of property rights. She objects to the sale of timber land without a reservation of mineral rights. She urges Senator Thomas to postpone the sale indefinitely and investigate the timber that has been removed from the land. Senator Thomas assures her that he will do what he can to help and work for the benefit of Indian citizens.
