Senator Elmer Thomas received a report regarding the timber lands of the Choctaw and Chickasaw Tribes, and it is unclear what further action can be taken. The Choctaw and Chickasaw Indians want the sale of timber land to be postponed indefinitely. Walter Colbert, President of the Atoka Treaty Right Association of Indian Affairs, sent this message.
