Scope and Contents

The Oklahoma Cotton Growers Association is concerned about the potential sale of Indian lands and the lack of protection for their resources. They are urging Senator Elmer Thomas to investigate and ensure that the lands are not being stolen or mismanaged. Additionally, a resolution has been introduced to permit leasing of Indian lands for oil and gas development, with some exceptions. Barnum also paid the Royal Zoological Society of England.
