Scope and Contents

Elmer Thomas received a letter from Miss Rose Alexander regarding the sale of Indian lands. He has received protests and filed them with the Indian Office, and is cooperating with Chief Durant of the Choctaw Tribe to help the Indian citizens. Thomas assures Alexander that he will do what he can to help out.
