Scope and Contents

The letter from Elmer Thomas informs William A. Durant that a copy of his appointment has been sent to David Buddrus. It also states that the affidavit of Durant's appointment was received on April 5 and the receipt was mailed to the Department of Interior on April 6. Thomas hopes Durant has received his first month's service payment and sends his regards.
