Scope and Contents

Ward wrote to Senator Thomas requesting a meeting with the Choctaw and Chickasaw Indians, but Senator Thomas was unable to get away due to hearings on the Interior Department bill. He promised to arrange a meeting with the group after Congress adjourns. Ward requested that Senator Thomas inform Walter Colbert and others of the date and place of the meeting in advance.
