Scope and Contents

The letter is from H. B. Brown to Senator Elmer Thomas, requesting his assistance in getting approval from Collier for the purchase of a collection of Indian relics to be placed in Bacone College. The letter also mentions that Senator Thomas is conducting hearings for the Senate Indian Affairs Committee in the West. Senator Thomas acknowledges receipt of the letter and assures that he will bring the matter to his attention as soon as possible. Senator Thomas suggests contacting C. A. Bonier at the American Indian Exposition at Tulsa for a possible display of the collection.
