Scope and Contents

Elmer Thomas, a member of the United States Senate Committee on Appropriations, acknowledges receipt of a summary chapter from a monograph by Dr. Sheiler Peterson on how Indian children are educated. Thomas expresses appreciation for the chapter and indicates that the complete monograph would be of more than ordinary interest. He thanks William Zimmerman, Jr., Commissioner of the Office of Indian Affairs, for sending the summary.
