Scope and Contents

The letter is a correspondence between Honorable Elmer Thomas and Honorable Tom Anglin regarding the Jackson Barnett case. Thomas informs Anglin that the Indian Office has referred the matter to the Department of Justice and no report has been received yet. Anglin expresses concern about the trial and the Contract between the fullblood heirs of Jackson Barnett. Thomas suggests that someone come to Washington to present the matter to Interior Department officials.
