Scope and Contents

Mrs. Scott from the Ma Hai Ya Indian Club in Shady Point, Oklahoma, wrote to Senator Elmer Thomas expressing their support for Senate Bill 3293 providing pensions for Indians. Senator Thomas replied, thanking them for their interest and assuring them he would keep their suggestions in mind. The club is hopeful that the bill will become a law soon and asks for Senator Thomas's best efforts in securing legislation for the issue.
