Scope and Contents

The text consists of a series of letters regarding the proposed Indian hospital in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Elmer Thomas is corresponding with the Mayor of Tahlequah, J.P. Thompson, and Commissioner of Indian Affairs, John Collier, regarding the status of the construction of the hospital. Thompson is urging Thomas to expedite the matter and provide updates. Thomas assures both Thompson and Collier that he is looking into the issue and will provide further information when available.
