Scope and Contents

Mrs. M. J. Conrad wrote a letter inquiring about Indian matters, specifically related to the Cherokee tribe. Elmer Thomas received the letter and forwarded it to Honorable John Collier, Commissioner of Indian Affairs, requesting him to provide information to Mrs. Conrad. Thomas assured Mrs. Conrad that he will ask for a report on her inquiries and provide her with more information when available.
