Rotary Club's Appeal Against the Abolishment of the Special Disbursing Agent's Office in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, 1935-04-16
Scope and Contents
The letter is in response to a resolution passed by the Rotary Club of Pawhuska regarding a possible change in the Disbursing Office in the Osage Agency. The letter states that the change is being made as a result of an Executive Order and there is little that can be done. However, the writer expresses willingness to help in any way possible. The resolution urges the Secretary of the Interior, Secretary of the Treasury, and Oklahoma Senators and Congressmen to not abolish the department and remove it from Pawhuska.
