Scope and Contents

Senator Elmer Thomas received a letter from Ben Dwight, on behalf of the Choctaw Nation, expressing gratitude for his assistance in getting the Choctaw-Chickasaw Coal Sale Bill passed in Congress. Dwight acknowledges that an appropriation for the sale may not be secured until January, but is pleased that the matter is now on a definite and binding basis. Senator Thomas plans to visit Oklahoma during the fall campaign and looks forward to seeing Dwight.
