Mrs. Blanche Maxwell wrote to Senator Elmer Thomas asking for information about the sale of Choctaw and Chickasaw coal and asphalt lands. Senator Thomas responded that the matter is in the hands of the Superintendent of the Five Civilized Tribes and suggested contacting A. M. Landman for updates.
