Scope and Contents
Munkers wrote to Senator Elmer Thomas on February 12, 1946, asking for information on the settlement of Choctaw and Chickasaw Indian affairs. Senator Thomas responded on February 16, 1946, informing Munkers that the matter is in the hands of Superintendent A. M. Landman and suggesting that Munkers contact him for updates on the progress towards settlement. Senator Thomas reassured Munkers that he is working on the issue and thanked him for his support.
