An Open Letter to Fred Harris on Poverty and Work Ethics, 1967-01-01 - 1968-12-31

Scope and Contents

The writer, Chico Ramos, questions why poor women have so many children and suggests they should be taught how to prevent it. He also criticizes young men who prefer to live off their wits rather than work. Ramos believes that many urban poor people deserve the hardship they face.
