Scope and Contents

SWCEL has received broad support from educators, community leaders, and other stakeholders in the four-state region it serves. The facility is locally controlled and funded, with private financial support also contributing to its programs. The Regional Council, made up of various members from the education and community sectors, oversees the facility's governance. The Laboratory program aims to involve citizens at the local level in addressing educational and social issues in their communities. SWCEL's financial support comes from the U.S. Office of Education.
