Scope and Contents

Mrs. LaDonna Harris participated in a conference sponsored by Oklahomans for Indian Opportunity to discuss relations between Indian and non-Indian residents in the area. The conference aimed to identify and solve existing problems. LaDonna Harris, an honorary lifetime president of OIO, was a keynote speaker. The conference included panel discussions with Indian and non-Indian residents, and Senator Fred R. Harris was interviewed about his work in Washington. The Harrises also participated in a CBS television film on "The Problems of America" in Hughes County.
