Scope and Contents

The University of Oklahoma Board of Visitors has assigned 37 members to ad hoc committees focusing on various aspects of the university, such as graduate programs, minority groups, policy decision making, athletics and recreation, and resources. The purpose of these committees is to receive and study recommendations from visiting committees and conduct studies within their areas of responsibility. The Board of Visitors was formed to advise the university president and review long-range goals of the institution.
