Scope and Contents

The Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation, Ross O. Swimmer, wrote to Senator Dewey Bartlett requesting his support for S. 2130, the Indian Tribal Government Tax Status Act. Senator Bartlett responded that he will have his staff review the legislation and consider co-sponsoring it. Senator Bartlett thanked Chief Swimmer for keeping him informed of his interests.
