Scope and Contents
During a luncheon meeting on September 11, 1972, Fred Gipson and Gil Carter discussed the financial details of various grants received by the organizations they were involved with. Carter admitted that some of the figures he previously provided were inaccurate, and they discussed funding from Ford, Rockefeller Brothers Fund, and other sources for different programs. They also discussed issues with the MESBIC project and withholding taxes. Carter agreed to provide more information and make Iola or Betty available for questioning if needed.
