The Native American Lobby, led by Bill Gover, has called on the Justice Department to investigate the shooting death of a young Pagago Indian in Arizona. The American Indian Movement is also involved in protesting police brutality and exploitation of Indian people in the state. They are forming a coalition with the United Farm Workers to protest conditions in Arizona and plan a rally and march. The Native American Lobby and other Indian organizations support these efforts to stop discrimination and atrocities against Native Americans.
